Pilton is a beautiful village in the heart of the Somerset countryside. It is not only beautiful but vibrant with a mass of groups from Kindergartens to Happy Circle for the slightly older – we have something for everyone.
We are also blessed to have a coffee shop, newly refurbished pub and our own social club, a Parish Church and Methodist Chapel. Plus the village Co-op, which is open 7 days a week and has 2 22kw car chargers.
Once a year we are also the proud hosts of the Glastonbury Festival, which started originally as the Pilton Pop Festival.
We have so many events from wassailing to carol concerts, from Glastonbury Festival to songs of praise. This is a very active community lead village, there is something for everyone. Jumble trails to barn dances, band nights to bingo.
If you like to join in we would love to meet you.
We have more than 20 village groups, we have groups for the young and old, active and not so these days. Pilton is very friendly and groups would all like to meet new people. We have such a diverse list of groups from the Art Group to Village Voice and the local football club.
You will find something for you.
Food & Drink
For such a fairly small village we are very fortunate to have not only a pub (and very nice one at that) but a Club a coffee shop and Co-op with post office. The Co-op is open 7 days a week from 07-00 to 22-00. We even have a fish & chip van visit the village every Friday.
What more could one ask for?
